As one of the UK's leading fashion designers, with a successful career spanning over thirty years, Jasper Conran is known as an authority on style and tailoring. His signature aesthetic mixes classic British style and elegance with a cheeky, irreverent attitude.

Having studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York, Jasper Conran launched his luxury womenswear label in 1979 aged just nineteen. This formed the foundation of his design house - which has since grown to include menswear, bridal, fragrance, eyewear, childrenswear and homeware collections.

Further to developing his brand, Jasper Conran has worked extensively in the field of the performing arts. He has designed costumes and sets for ballets, theatre and films during his illustrious career. Jasper Conran’s vision, taste and exquisite style is manifest in his book ‘Country’, a stunning photographic essay capturing a year of exploration around the English countryside.

His extensive portfolio of work has drawn critical acclaim, notably British Designer of the Year, a Lawrence Olivier Award for costume design and more recently, his appointment as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (O.B.E).

It was in 2001 that Jasper was approached by Wedgwood to design a collection of fine bone china dinnerware. The Jasper Conran at Wedgwood collection was launched with the Plain White and Strata ranges and, to date, features a striking array of contemporary shapes and patterns. Jasper’s unique talent for creating clean, simple, modern classics is evident in every piece.
